About

The way I work changed the day a delivery driver told me he had to use my app while double-parked, with cars honking behind him. The app worked well, but I had never stopped to think about the situation he would be using it in. Since then, that’s the first thing I ask.

In the SAP world, my biggest strength is seeing the whole picture: a careful interface and user experience on the frontend, a clean, high-performing backend, and secure, well-designed APIs and services. Understanding how every layer fits together is what lets me make the right call on each problem.

I enjoy learning and really understanding how things work, because that’s what lets me make better decisions. Certifications aren’t the goal in themselves: they give me more confidence that the solution I propose is the right one.

Strengths

My top 10 strengths according to Gallup’s CliftonStrengths assessment, which I took when I stepped into my new “Lead” role. I don’t take it literally, but it fits the way I work remarkably well.

  1. I need to feel I’m making progress. I enjoy getting things done, and finishing a project gives me energy for the next one.

  2. I love ideas and connecting things that seem unrelated at first. A good brainstorming session is one of my favourite parts of the job.

  3. Faced with a problem, I quickly see several paths and pick the one that works best. That’s why I almost always have a plan B (and a C).

  4. Learning motivates me as much as the result. That’s how I learnt Fiori in my free time, and how I keep going with AI today.

  5. I want to understand the why behind things. Before I build, I like to be clear on every piece and how they fit together.

  6. I notice what makes each person unique: what they’re good at, what motivates them and how they work best. It’s exactly what helps me most as a lead.
